These Smoked Salmon And Cucumber Canapés are a fresh and light appetizer to please! Tender smoked salmon sits on a cucumber slice topped with cream cheese. A delicious low carb snack! —sohappyyoulikedit – Jamie Preuss

Ingredients

  • 12

    cucumber slices, about 1/4 inch thick


  • 1/3 cup

    whipped cream cheese


  • 4 ounces

    thinly sliced lox-style smoked salmon


  • Fresh Dill, to garnish


  • Capers, to garnish


  • Thinly sliced red onion, to garnish

Directions
  1. Arrange cucumber slices on a platter. If you have more than 12 slices, that’s just fine!
  2. Using a small offset spatula, spread whipped cream cheese over each cucumber slice.
  3. Arrange smoked salmon slices on top of each slice.
  4. op with thinly sliced red onion, fresh dill sprigs, and capers. No need to measure – add as much or as little as you think looks nice and will taste good!
  5. Serve immediately or chill up to 2 hours before serving.
